Stop Motion
The woodworking came from me trying to make a stop motion piece while in art school in the fall of 2011. I spent so much time building the figures, I never got around to animating them. For Spring Break 2020, I wanted to make a tribute back to what started me on woodworking.
The film is presented from a custom arcade cabinet. The pieces represent vingettes of what I imagined why my profession would be as a child... in the videogame of life.
These photos are from my solo exhibition “As Long As I’ve Got My Health...” presented at Spring Break Art Fair New York in March of 2020.
